Your Revenge Fantasy is a Waste of Time

We have all had that thought at one time or another in our lives. Women can be heartless and cruel. They can be really good at looking out for number one with absolutely no regard as to how their actions will negatively affect those around them. Being a man who has been subject to the clusterfuck a woman can unleash, it is very easy to crave a revenge fantasy. An eye for an eye. Teach that bitch a lesson.

The only problem is this usually backfires.

Men aren't women. We don't have the luxury to be impetuous, emotional creatures. There is no one that will excuse our behavior in exhange for sex. There are no government programs to save us from our poor decisions. There is no sympathy for getting yours. You are an asshole, regardless of what you do.

And therein lies our power as men.

If we want to be worth a shit, we have to build ourselves into something. We have to take accountability. We have to learn from our mistakes and do better next time. There is no one coming to save us— and that is beautiful. We are the architects of our own making. We are masters of our own fate and we'll be shit on regardless.

Women aren't men. The aforementioned does not apply. Eggs are expensive and spem is cheap. We are hardwired with the female protective instinct. If you don't save her some other schmuck will (or at least until they are no longer fuckable).

So what does this all mean?

Well, not only will women not learn whatever lesson you concocted in your Wile E. Coyote-esque master plan, but everyone will actively ensure you pay for it. You're the asshole for being mean to a girl, regardless of what she may have done to deserve it.

Women don't typically get their comeuppance, until they do. But we'll address that later.

As a man, it is in your best interest, regardless of how much every fiber of your being tells you otherwise, to let go of the revenge fantasy and focus on the end goal.

Here are three very common examples of how guys step on their own dick by seeking revenge over what is in their best interest.

Acting Like a Fucking Chick After a Fight

Women can do some wild shit. They can be emotional and lash out in ways that aren't acceptable for most men. The best way to handle such issues is to set and subsequently enforce boundaries. Remove your attention, affection or commitment proportional to the transgression. Once the boundary has been enforced, move on.

Unfortunately, a lot of guys get into an unnecessary pissing match because of their desire to teach that bitch a lesson. At its core it is a validation seeking behavior and a covert contract.

“If she only experienced what she did to me, she wouldn't do it”.

The problem is women don't care, and if they do, they will find a way to justify their behavior after the fact. So no amount of giving them a taste of their own medicine will correct the behavior. For them, their actions were justified and you're just being a dick.

On the off chance you have a girl that is self-aware enough and able to take accountability for her actions by correcting her behavior, engaging in the same behavior that was a no-go for you, just demonstrates to her that you have the emotional maturity of a five year old. Rubbing her face in it like a dog that shit on the floor.

Furthermore, you are prolonging strife much longer than required. Every retaliatory action opens the wound again; bringing up all the emotions that resulted in her acting out of pocket in the first place.

Let girls act like girls. As a man, set boundaries and enforce them. Move on. Memory of a goldfish.

Withholding Sex

Talk about the most counterproductive thing a guy who isn't getting laid can do. Unfortunately, this is incredibly common.

A guy is in a dead or near dead bedroom and for whatever reason (through self-improvement or just dumb luck) his girl wants to fuck him again, only for him to reject her and in a pathetic attempt to make her feel the pain he feels.

Fuck. Right. Off.

Firstly, you send mixed signals. How is she suppose to interpret this rejection? For whatever reason she has decided to fuck you again and you basically just told her fucking her is not important to you. She resents you for being all butthurt about not getting laid and when she finally decides to throw you a scrap you tell her to go away. This will only compound the resentment creating a cycle that will almost certainly lead down a path neither of you want.

This behavior is just like the toddler that keeps stealing another kid's toy having to give it back and wait their turn only to refuse to play with it when it is finally available.

Secondly, it is completely counterproductive to the goal of a man who isn't getting laid and desperately wants to. The end goal was to have sex, and when finally getting the opportunity to do so, steps on their own dick going another night without sex.

Was the goal to fuck or not?

Why let your desire for petty vengeance fuck that up?

Because you are seeking her validation.

You have a covert contract.

And you also have a dry dick.

Being Vengeful During Divorce

This is all too common. She acted like a cunt, perhaps she cheated or just got bored of you and called it quits. It doesn't really matter what the reason, taking vengeance on her during the divorce process is not wise.

I get it. A guy has every right to be hurt, to be pissed off, to want her to get her comeuppance, but the fact is, her lawyer and the courts don't give two shits what happened. What they care about is how things will proceed going forward.

Guys will spend an extra $20,000 in legal fees just to make sure she doesn't get an extra $10,000, extend the legal process fighting over the stupidest details, take shots at her character in court all to their own detriment.

From the perspective of the court you are acting petty and spiteful. Not the greatest look for someone who wants at least partial custody of their kids. Furthermore, whatever horseshit behavior she had in the relationship becomes justified in her eyes and that of the court when you retaliate.

You are painting yourself as a spiteful prick that is best not having custody of his children, but supervised visits every second weekend. Oh, and since your kids need a stable home, it is best she keep the house.

Acting petty and overly aggressive during the divorce process is not in your best interest. Every hostile attack you make is another nail in your coffin. It is much better to keep your shit together and top from the bottom as laid out in the Better Beta Divorce Strategy.

Conclusion

Drop the revenge fantasy. Nowhere in society, other than other pissed off guys on the internet, does anyone have sympathy for the shit a man goes through— especially if it involves a woman. More often than not any attempt to teach that bitch a lesson will be counterproductive to your goals at best and make you a pariah at worst.

Keep your head on straight and let ‘em burn.

As I previously mentioned, the greatest strength a man has is his own agency. The beauty of having no one there to save you is, should you put in the effort, you will develop the tools required to get shit done.

Women do not get this opportunity. There is always a safety net. Someone or some institution to pick up the slack, until there isn't.

Imagine spending most of your life dependent on someone else. Dependent on institutions to keep you afloat. Then once you are no longer desired and alone, being left to learn all the tools required to get shit done; the same tools that men were forced to learn throughout their life.

I can't think of a worse fate.

There is no need to teach a woman a lesson. She'll either learn it for you, for someone else or be forced to learn it the hard way.
